What is NEBA?
NEBA is a brand new kind of medical device. In technical terms, NEBA is a “Neuropsychiatric EEG-based Interpretive
Aid”. NEBA is the first type of this device approved by FDA.
NEBA measures a specific brainwave biomarker and integrates this biomarker with a clinician’s regular ADHD evaluation.
NEBA helps your clinician improve certainty by either 1) confirming ADHD or 2) suggesting further testing.
If NEBA prompts for further testing, NEBA will help your clinician to focus on either more testing for ADHD or more testing for other conditions.
How does NEBA Work?
Your clinician first performs their regular evaluation for ADHD. Next, your clinician enters their initial impression about ADHD into the NEBA system. To collect data on brain function, NEBA includes a standard computer tablet and other
equipment, including a special cap. Your child wears the cap for 15-20 minutes. NEBA collects brainwave data and along with your clinician’s initial impression, NEBA creates a report The process – from data collection to report production – takes a little over an hour. The report helps your clinician to improve certainty about ADHD.
What do I need to do to get NEBA?

Call your clinician. If appropriate for your child, your clinician will prescribe NEBA by giving you a special code.
Create a MyNEBA Account. Your clinician will direct you to create an account at MyNEBA.com or download the MyNEBA App. Your MyNEBA account is used to enter your billing and clinical information It should take you about 15 minutes to complete.
Go to your clinician for your child’s ADHD evaluation and NEBA testing.
