It makes it possible to deal with DNS data as simple objects and eliminates the need to work with and understand the intricacies of DNS master files (a.k.a. zone files).

It builds on the existing Simple DNS Plus HTTP API interface which has already been available for several years. But it is much more than just a wrapper for the HTTP API.
All the master file parsing and Assembly is done by the API library (which can run one a separate computer), so this does not add any overhead or complexity to Simple DNS Plus itself.
