QSCS is an application designed to calculates the three-phase short-circuit currents. It is based on ANSI/IEEE Std 141 and 242. The intent of this program is to provide a means for determining the numerical value of the short-circuit RMS current. The application returns with the maximum short-circuit current available 陆 cycle after the short circuit starts. The program is very easy to use and includes a feature for inserting any type of device (circuit Breaker, switch, panel board, Reactor, cable, etc.) in series with the circuit conductors. QSCS automatically provides the impedance of the circuit conductors, based on 75 oC average temperature.
