NOTE- Unlike other similar apps out there this app does NOT send your device pop-up alerts. There are apps that do this and the problem is they can use up your 3G in the background! Not good!. So please don't leave negative reviews because this app does not send you pop-up alerts.

The purpose of the app is to track multiple areas near you AND when you suspect a bad storm is forming or whenever you want to check- you can simply open the Severe Weather Tracker app and see if there are any severe weather alerts, warnings or watches in your area. Then you can look at local weather related Tweets, images or the radar.
