THE THEORY

If you have spent any time on the water, you have noticed that there is more activity at certain times. The increase in activity is generally thought to be movement to feed. These cycles in activity are caused by the earth’s relationship to the moon and sun. Since the moon is closer than the sun, its influence is stronger despite the fact that the sun is many times larger. DataSport, Inc. uses this science and, in The Fish & Game Forecaster and the FishCast graphics, adds many other well-known activity triggers such and dawn and dusk, to arrive at extremely reliable forecast times.
