“Arriving soon”

If the answer is yes “Arriving soon” is the application you were waiting for.

“Arriving soon” is a new location service that lets you know where your friends are just few minutes before you’re supposed to meet. You can easily set up a meeting time and place or just import it from your agenda. You can choose who is coming and how many minutes before you want to see your colleague’s or friend’s location and how many minutes before they can see yours. Of course, you have to accept their request to see your location at their desired time before they can actually see it. If both of you agree on respective times, the system will show you each other’s location.

“Arriving soon” is so great because it only shows your position with your consent at your chosen time, so you are in full control over who see you and when they do. After the time of your scheduled appointment has elapsed, your location is no longer visible.

You can also easily see which of your contacts uses the application and you can invite those who don’t have it yet to join you.
“Arriving soon” is written specifically and exclusively for Apple's newest iPhone System Software version 3.0. It uses several 3.0 functionalities, including Push Notifications, Embedded Map Views, In-application Email Composition (for inviting other users) and Facebook integration. Please note, “Arriving soon” is now available for iPhone and iPod Touch and Ipad devices running system software version 3.0 or later.
