It will allow you to Batch purge an entire file folder of AutoCAD drawings. The process is automatic, so you dont have to know how to Create a script file or to manually open every drawing and go through the time consuming purging process.
This program can be run at times when your archive server is at its quietest, as open drawings and drawing locks (.dwk) will cause a script to halt waiting for user input. So it is a good idea to clean out all .dwk files. Dont worry if you want to purge files across a network. The ability to map and un-map drives is built into the program. All you need is WRITE permission to the networked drive. Dont worry if you have a complicated directory structure setup.
