The software is includes import/export tools for all major media formats (including 3DS, X, MPEG, MP3, BMP, JPEG, TGA, TIFF, and PNG). You can compile EXEs for multimedia CDROMs, touchscreen kiosks, web servers, and MS Office documents directly from the application. All resources are neatly packaged into a single file, meaning you wont get Broken links or missing textures. You can also now export image sequences, AVIS and animated GIFs. The software is also loaded with features that you wont find in competitive products, such as built-in dynamic 3D charts and fish-Eye photo to environment map conversion tools. The DX Studio system comprises of both a fully functional real-time 3D engine, and easy to use 2D and 3D editors. You can build rapid prototypes of user interfaces or games in minutes, or complete interactive applications ready for deployment. Documents can run full-screen or inside other documents (as a COM / ActiveX control) and supports interactive menus, scenes, boned animated characters and inter-document communication over a network. All files are stored in standard XML file format, with ZIP compressed resources. For total customisation needs, there is a comprehensive plug-in SDK available for the editor.
