Farplano (ex Swiss Stationboards) app displays public transport connections (train, bus, tram, boat, etc.) for the stations close to you.
Features:
• Automatic geolocation and finding nearest stations (also without GPS).
• Manual station setting when location is not available.
• Ability to hide particular types of transports: trains or buses at the moment.
• Saving stations to the favorites for better geolocation.
Calendar service:
• Shows public transport connections for near-future events from the calendar.
• Ability to choose the calendars to sync and the minimum connection duration to ignore short connections.
Switzerland-specific:
• Buy TPF tickets via SMS in Fribourg and Bulle.
• Colored public transport numbers in the following cities: Fribourg, Biel, Basel, Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne.
