Blocket.se är Sveriges största köp- och säljmarknad på Internet som grundades 1996 av Henrik Nordström i Fjälkinge, Skåne län.[2] Blocket.se startade som en skånsk regional prylmarknad men i slutet av 1997 lades marknadsplatsen ut över hela Sverige. I augusti 2001 började blocket.se att ta betalt för de privata radannonserna som tidigare varit gratis. Den norska mediekoncernen Schibsted köpte blocket.se 2003 av de dåvarande aktieägarna Henrik Nordström och Pierre Siri, delägare och VD december 2001- 2006. Blocket har genom åren lanserats i 36 andra länder.
