If you keep your music collection organized by folders on your device or in the cloud (Dropbox or Google Drive) beat should be your first choice when it comes to Android music players.
Its unique feature - Floating Controls - is a set of controls (for previous/next song, play/pause), which will float above all other app .
Instead of closing other apps like games in order to change a song, you just tap to expand it and change your song without disturbing your game play.

I cannot find my music, where is it ?
-> If you change to the 'add root path' modus, you will first be on the storage, your device's manufacturer chose to be the 'primary storage'. If your device has another storage (e.g. sdcard/internal), hit 'Up' in the actionbar at the top a couple of times to navigate to it.
Is WMA supported ?
-> Yes it is, but it is currently an experimental feature, which has to be switched on. The song start for WMA files, is a bit slow, but it will be instant in the near future.

beat has a beautiful Holo design like the google play Music app, but uses the folder structure on your usb storage. Most music formats are supported (I am currently working on WMA support on all devices, stay tuned).

Upon your first visit you can choose a (device) root path for your music, you can add shortcuts to the navigation drawer from every path from your device, Dropbox or Google Drive.
Equalizer
Use one of the presets or tune your sound as you like. Turn on the Bass boost for an extra boom in your headphones.
