The international Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) is hosting the 9th IISS Regional security Summit: The Manama Dialogue on 6-8 December 2013 in The Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Manama Dialogue is an inter-governmental summit held so that national security leaders from the Gulf, wider Middle East, North America, Europe and Asia can consult bilaterally and multilaterally on the key security and foreign policy challenges in the Middle East at the time. In its ninth year, the Manama Dialogue will also convene responsible members of the analytical community business leaders, former officials and influential media to ensure open and transparent discussions, and to offer support and understanding in influential circles of evolving government policy.
