Mupen64Plus, Android Edition AE is an N64 emulator for Android. It is currently in Beta testing, which means it is a work in progress. This is the official app, which was recently taken down after some of the competitors filed fake DMCA takedown notices.I am publishing the app for the Mupen64Plus development team while Paul is trying to work out account issues with google Note that all other N64 emulator apps currently on the market are copies of previous versions of this app.This is the latest official build, and it free of ads.
We would like to point out that the DMCA specifies Google is required to restore content taken down within 1014 business days after receiving a DMCA counterclaim.However, instead Paul39;s account was banned by Google for quot;multiple offensesquot; of Google39;s terms of service.The emails received from Google were automated and did not specify exactly what terms of service were violated or how to fix the problem.Paul believes the problem may have been copyright issues related to game screenshots To test this theory, we are listing the app without game screenshots or video to see if this satisfies Google39;s terms of service.If the app gets pulled from the Market again, you will still be able to acquire future updates for free on paulscode.com.
